Prisoners (2013) – Suspense from beginning till the end

How far will you go when your daughter is missing? Would you let the police do their job or go on your own investigation?

In 2013 director Denis Villeneuve made two movies with Jake Gyllenhaal; Enemy (haven’t seen it yet) and Prisoners.
Hugh Jackman plays Keller Dover, who visits friend Franklin Birch (Terrence Howard) for Thanksgiving and their daughters wanna play outside. Little time later the daughters are nowhere to seen or found. They call the police and it is up to Detective Loki (Jake Gyllenhaal) to find the girls and find the person who kidnapped these guys. First lead in the case is a parked RV and the investigation starts by talking to the owner of this RV, the not sociable and little crazy Alex (Paul Dano). But could he be the kidnapper or did somebody else took the girls?

Movie had me at the end of my seat the whole movie. Great plot and storyline, especially liked the pace of the movie. Real question is how far will you go when one of your kids is missing and how will you respond to this situation?
Now I feel I had to see this movie earlier because it is really good, cast was extremely good. If you want to be at the edge of your seat, watch this movie. You will not be disappointed. One of the best movies I have seen lately.
