In the heart of Italy, Harvard professor of symbology Robert Langdon (third time played by Tom Hanks) is drawn into a harrowing world centered on one of history’s most enduring and mysterious literary masterpieces: Dante’s Inferno.
When he wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks (played by the wonderful actress Felicity Jones), a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories. Against this backdrop, Langdon is pulled (again) into a landscape of classic art, secret passageways, and futuristic science.
Where the first two movies had a more spionage and puzzle theme, this one is completely different and the worst. No pace and even the acting is standard and completely dull. Could have been much better, so maybe if they will do The Lost Symbol, they will re-invent themselves, again. Now, this movie was pretty awful and I was glad it ended.
